HOW IT WORKS

Collect. Measure. Sort.

01
COLLECT
Retired EV and industrial lithium-ion cells are collected from partners and brought in for assessment.
02
MEASURE
Each cell is tested for capacity, internal resistance and cycle history against EN 18061:2025.
03
SORT
Cells are graded and routed to the second-life application they’re fit for, or to material recovery if they’re not.
WHY NOW

The regulatory and market moment

70–85%
Typical residual capacity in a retired EV battery cell — most are far from scrap.
EN 18061
New European standard, published 2025, for safe testing and reuse of second-life EV batteries.
2023/1542
EU Battery Regulation: cells prepared for repurposing are placed on the market anew.
